So, first I tried hoping someone
offered me more than what I asked for. That didn't work at all.
I tried complaining about being underpaid, but that just plain sucked.
I tried waiting for a sign from the heavens that it's time to raise prices, and it worked a little better (not really).
And that's when I finally tried positioning myself as a higher-value brand. And guess what? This time it worked!
And that's when I realized it wasn't my fault! I was failing because of my self-doubt about my value. No wonder I was struggling.
For years they wanted me to believe you have to hit some arbitrary criteria to "qualify" for raising my prices, and when I figured out that it wasn't true, I was finally able to break out of the mental chains and get the results I deserved!
The real problem is your self-doubt about your value. THE DOUBTS was the thing keeping me from discovering how to charge more -- and actually GET IT!
Once I realized people will see me and my business the same way that I saw myself, that's when I started to understand how to charge more -- and actually GET IT really FAST!
